Please give us more information to help understand your question: Are you using Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook? They're different programs that both handle email. What exactly do you want to do with the folders? Both programs let you create folders, delete folders, and copy or move messages between folders.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

Hi Steve,I use Outlook Express. Over the years I have set up many folders to store various emails, some of which are duplicated and some finished up as sub folders. I wold like to be able to move things around and delete some of the folders in other words do some house keeping.Best regardsKeith B.

Thanks for that information, Keith! For a review of how to create folders, please see How to Create Folders to Organize Mail in Windows Live Mail or Outlook Express . Here are some things that you might want to do: To move messages to a different folder, select the messages, right-click one of them, click Move To Folder , and browse to the one you want. To delete a folder, right-click it and click Delete . To move a folder, drag and drop it to a new location. I hope that covers it. If not, please come back with more questions. Steve,I'm OK with moving to folder but right click and delete does nothing other than closing the dialogue box. So I can clear out the folders that are redundant or duplcates but I can't get rid of them.RegardsKeith B.

If right-click > Delete doesn't delete a folder, try left-clicking the folder and dragging it into the Deleted Items folder.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
