Hi I had just recently brought a new windows 7 Professional laptop. I found out that my laptop can't display korean language on chrome, windows explorer etc. but other language like chinese and japanese was displaying fine. anyone know how to solve the problem? i would wish to read korean on my laptop

Operating intself is supporting other languages in Ultimate and Enterprise version. However the MUI rule for IE may differ and I would check optional MS updates. Regards Milos

Hi, Please check whether there are any Korean fonts in the font folder C:\WINDOWS\FONTS. If not, please download and install it. Also, try out Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Administrative Tab -> Change System Locale and then set the region and language there Hope this helps Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support

Thank you to both of you for your time. How may I know which are Korean fonts in my fonts folder? And which Korean fonts do I download? I will try changing the system locale option when I got home.

There is Korean font in my font folder as I do see the Korean words. When I change the system locale to Korean it will be able to change all the boxes to Korean fonts but when I change back to my default English (Singapore) it is back to the boxes
