I had this problem as well. Click on Control Panel, Network Connections, then right click on the interface mentioned in the error message (it may be "Local Area Connection" or "Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI" to use your example). You'll see the Eacfilt Driver with a check box. Clear the checkbox, and click on OK. Then repeat the process, this time checking the checkbox. Click OK again, and now it will work.

yes, In addition to unchecking and checking, please disable and reenable your LAN connection. If in doubt, I like to do a full reboot.

Hi all, I just face this problem and solve it, I tried to check/uncheck the driver in the Network Connection but it doesn't work for me, sowhat I did was: I uninstall Contivity, then I went to the regedit (start>run>regedit) and search for all the entries with the name "eacfilt" and delete all of them. Then I went to "c:\windows\system32" and delete the file eactfilt.dll (you can rename if you don't want to lose it) After that I reboot and reinstall Now everything works fine. I tried to unistall/install the Contivity without deleting the files and entries, butdoing this it doesn't work, because it doesn't copy the DLL again because is already in the system and is already registered in the Regedit. Good luck
