EFS on Windows Vista
I had a PC installed with Windows Vista. I encrypted some files on my local disk using EFS. I then later moved this data to an iSCSI disk. I later reinstalled the PC with a new Vista installMy issue is the files can no longer be accessedI thought that moving the files to the iSCSI disk that they would be decrypted during the move.....I WAS WRONG. It seems that moving to an iSCSI present disk looks like a local disk so the files remained encrypted. My issu now is that i can no longer get access to the files. Can anyone help me decrypt my files

No way to interpret these documentsEFS encryption system is transparent to the user. That is to say, if you encrypt some data, then you of these data permit the visit would be complete, and will not be subject to any restrictions. And other non-authorized users trying to access encrypted data, will receive the "Access denied" error. EFS encrypted user authentication process is carried out at the log in Windows, as long as the log in to Windows, you can open any one was authorized to encrypt files.
