Hello, I re-installed the windows xp home before making EFS certificate and private key back up. So, I was not able to access the EFS files after the re-install. However, I used the data recovery tool to restore the certificate thumbprint and private keys but they don't have any file extention. It just says it's system file. How do I use these files to restore the original certificate to decrypt the EFS files that I had? Is it possible? Please help. Thanks in advance!1 person needs an answerI do too
