EDITING OF COMPONENT SERVICES
HELP*****PLEASE I'm desperate for help and will appreciate any help. Really. My problem is that some of the services dialogue box entries were edited. As a result, I have no Audio service available. I go into the services through ADMINISTRATION in the control panel. I then go into services. I find that the Audio entry is stopped. When I try to start the Audio, it tells me that there is a problem with the related dependencies and lists six (6) requirring attention. I have tried but have been unable to get all six (6) lined up properly to start audio. It seems that everything in all the dependencies must be exactly set in all respects. I have tried to line everything up and simply can't get the job done. I am wondering: 1) Is there a snap-in to solve this? or, 2) Is there the possibility of substituting a file for the services.*** file? or, C) Is there any easy way to get the audio started or am I stuck with dealing with all the detail? I WILL APPRECIATE ANY HELP> PLEASE. MoMiner

Hi MoMiner, Thanks for the post! Please provide us with a screenshot when you encounter the issue, the detailed error message is needed for troubleshooting. You can upload it via SkyDrive in a public drive and give us a link here. Does this issue happen before? If you enter into Safe Mode, is everything working there?
