Your email address is on some spammer's list and there's nothing you can do about it. Another reason this can happen is if one of your friends has an infected computer and their computer is spewing spam emails. In those cases, the malware that causes this will often pull the "From" line in those emails from the infected computer's address book. Since your address is in your friend's address book... Also the malware will send email to all the addresses in the infected machine's address book and many of those addresses are bad and will get returned by the receiving email server. Since that server "thinks" you are the sender... However, it will be wise to make sure your own computer is virus/malware-free either, particularly because you say these emails are showing up in your Sent items. After all, it could be your computer which is the infected one doing the spam spewing! http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
