E-mail Outlook Express problem
My Outlook EXPRESS E-mail was working fine yesterday morning. When I went back after lunch to check it I couldn't get in. It ask for User name & password & won't do anything. When I X out of that box I get this: There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] invalid user/password', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 I have tried everything I could find in my searching for almost a full day now and it still won't work. What's funny (to me anyway) is that I can send a message with that account thru Word.

In your subject you say Outlook Express. In the body you say Outlook. They're not the same thing. Please click Help>About in your mail client and state what you're really using.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

Usually the errors 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 come up if the password entered in the account is incorrect. Try logging into the BellSouth webmail. If you are unable to login in webmail then contact you internet service provider and reset the password. Enter the new password on Outlook express.
