Hello, I had unlocated space on my hard disk so when I created a new partion all my partions were converted to Dynamic. I have searched and have not found any good solution to convert them back to basic disk without deleting files. I can not delete my partion/disk because the data is more than 350gb(500gb are the hardisk space) and I have not any other hardisk to transfer them. Please help me.

The only method Microsoft suggest involves deleting partitions/volumes first. Do an internet search for convert dynamic disk to basic disk and use at your own risk. There are some third party software solutions, but none of them are supported by Microsoft. http://www.google.com/search?q=%22convert+dynamic+disk+to+basic+disk%22&hl=en&num=10&lr=&ft=i&cr=&safe=images&tbs= Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. hi there, don't worry. i've come across this kind of problem before. so in windows disk management you can not convert dynamic disk to basic one without deleting all the partitions on it. u'd better get a partition tool, just like i did. i used partition manager . u can have a try. good luck.
