Try to write down code carefully in a paper and then put re-type it. Product key is a bit long thats why user might type it incorrectly. Even one letter miss or wrong cause this error. After you done this let us know result and if it down destroy the paper to avoid other people use product key.If that fail, you could contact your PC manufacture support.

Any idea why the error? the disk came with the notebook and the KEYs are in the back label The key on the bottom of the computer is the product key for Windows.Your computer apparently came with a trial version of MicrosoftOffice, and you are trying to enter the Windows Product Key intoOffice. It won't work. You need an Office key for Office, not a Windows key.And since you have only a trial version of Office, you need to buy itto get a Product Key. Moreover, if the computer came with Windows pre-installed, it'salready been activated and you don't need to enter the product key toactivate it. -- Ken BlakePlease Reply to the Newsgroup Ken Blake
