Duplicate folder names when enabling Offline Files for certain folders...
I have moved the location to almost all of my folders in my profile folder (My Docs, Downloads, My Music, My Pictures, My Videos) to my home NAS. I have also enabled offline files for the shared folder on the NAS as well. After moving the folder location and enabling offline files, I've noticed extra folders in the root of my profile--one with the green sync icon and another that looks like a regular folder. They all have duplicate names. Is this normal when you enable offline folders for folders or is something wrong? I've included a screenshot below. Thanks! http://i.imgur.com/aJk8M.png

Hi, How did you move these kind of folders to the new location? Please access the following link to check the setting. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Redirect-a-folder-to-a-new-location Also, you may click the corresponding items in the Navigation Pane to check whether the contents are the same. But I assume that they have the same folder name because of desktop.ini file. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi, Please change the name of desktop.ini file and check the folder's true name. Note: please change the folders which do not have the Offline File mark. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
