Driver Problem False Report ?

Motherboard: F1A75-V PRO

Processor:AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon Graphics ( 4 Core Processor)

RAM: Corsair 8 GB

System drive : Samsung 128 GB SSD

OS: Windows 8.1.1

All the 4 units of the above mentioned Processor shows defective drivers. If I try to revert to roll back, the button is not high ighed and therefore I cannot click to go back. But for all practical purposes the PC is running smooth.

And for your information the latest available driver from ASUS   "amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-sb-sata-ahci-win8.1-win7"  is already instaled.

Also, this issue is not there in another OS installation on another physical hard disk in the same PC of - "Windows 10 Technical preview". Here all the 4 units of the processors show their drivers as OK. Suspecting some hardware issues with the Samsung SSD, I re-imaged my Windows 8.1 installation on another SSD. The problem persisted.

I want to take another image backup of the sytem, but only after the issue is solved.

Please advise.

If you are concerned that the behavior might be caused by the SSD, you may want to run the diagnostics software supplied by the manufacturer to verify the health of the device. Samsung provides Samsung Magician available for download here.
