Drive Letters Not Appearing in Save As dialogue box
One of my users is attempting to save a file. When they go to save the file, their R:/ drive is not visible in the left hand location chooser, however, when navigating through Explorer to Computer > Network Location the R:/ drive is listed. We use Xythos Drive to map to a WebDav share. Any ideas why the R:/ is not listed under Computer from within Save As but it is in Explorer? Thanks.

1. What you do not see is what you still can get. Share visibility is a matter of "legacy" port 137-139. Port 445 would suffice for connectivity. If you feel that firewall (FW) take place here (yes,it will), then disable FW temporarily. 2. Also be careful about the notation. Slash is unix way, while in Windows there is backslash (Unless it is NFS case, or cygwin). 3.Actually you need not use mapping to access shared folders. Instead use simple script (save as bat) explorer \\server\shared_folder Regards Milos
