I only lost that once.I had a trojan horse.I lost the taskbar, & the ability to 'search' too.MAKE CERTAIN YOU DON'T HAVE A VIRUS IMMEDIATELYI got my system cleaned by running my AVG resident shield in the background while I ran microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool.The tool opened each file to examine them, but as soon as they were opened, AVG BLASTED THEVIRUS RIGHTINTO THE VAULT!

hmmm...well, I have no idea what file supports drag & drop.system file checker used to be great for finding bad system files & replacing them.HEY MICROSOFT! BRING BACK SFC!anyway, I'd probably go to tech support to find the file, or maybe do a non-destructive reinstall of windows.
