Downloading file blocks internet access to other computers on router
We have several windows XP machines on our network, and recently a coworker and I started using our Win7 64 bit laptops at work. Immediately, we noticed that whenever one of us downloads a large file (more than a minute or 2 to download) the Internet access to the other machines is blocked until the download is complete. This occurs even if the download is local (i.e. not coming over the internet). My machine is wireless, his is hard-wired. Either machine will trigger the block. Our router/modem is a 2wire home portal, but I can DL on our XP machines and everything is fine. It's just the new Win 7 systems that cause it. The Win7 systems are using about 50-70 percent of the internet bandwidth when they do this.

Hi Prattaratt, I would like to suggest you update the firmware for your router and reset it to check the result. What’s the result? Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT
