Download box freezing, unable to download.
When downloading a file from an email now, for some reason, the download box has no information in it and and there is no download green progress line. Whats more, although the cancel button at the bottom of the box is highlighted, it will not cancel. The X at the top of the box on the right hand side also does not function. When i switch to Mozilla and download a file all is normal. Any help appreciated. Lee

try clearing the cache and cookies, click on tools and open internet options then click on delete in browsing history category and then clean temproary files and cookies.i think you've many useless addons enabled in your IE, which causes such freezing, click on tools and select manage addons and after that disable the addons that have no use for you.....do these, it may help you....My Blog | http://www.windows4life.blogspot.com

Hi,first off all temporarily disable your antivirus software, open Start - Control panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> press the Reset button, click OK when a dialog window is appear; than find the Settings list on the advanced tab and uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions" -> press Apply and OK.Hope it helps.
