This problem is not Windows one. Contact Utorrent community for help http://forum.utorrent.com/ If zou really think that this is problem on Windows side, then test the connectivity by pinging on torrent server by IP address and then do the same with name for testing name resolution. You can test if firewall plays the role by temporal disabling the local firewall role. Regards Milos

Recently my computer froze and my son had to wipe it and reinstall everyhting. I use Windows 7 and Utorrent 2.2.1 build 25273 now. I notice that only a few of the sites I use I cannot download from when previously I could. I get a red arrow next to the torrent and under status I get, offline(timed out). Now, my port is forwarded correctly and was checked using canyouseeme.org When I try to ping any site I get, Request timed out. I get the same message when I do a tracert. I am at a total loss. Any ideas? Thanks.
