Domain logon messages Vista client/Windows Server 2003 domain
When my XP domain PC's startup they show information messages as the GPO's and scripts applied to Computer Configuration are executed - such as managed software being installed/updated etc. However, when a Vista client starts up, I just see "Please Wait..." before the Control+Alt+Delete screen. Is there any way (other than upgrading the domain to 2008) to show the same information messages on Vista PC's as XP? Seems like backwards compatibility went of the radar for this part of the transition from XP to Vista...Hope someone can help?Chris

Sorry, I'm going to answer my own question - should have looked a bit harder before posting. The is a GPO under Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System called "Verbose vs normal status messages" which when set to Enabled gives the details I was looking for.Hope this helps someone else...
