Domain computers not loading profiles properly

Hi,
When our network was on Windows XP we would never have an issue with networked printers loading what they are assigned via group policy. Now we have upgraded all our networked systems to Windows 7 the users don't seem to be loading their designated
settings properly.
Example: H35PC01 needs to load H35 Colour Printer, but it doesn't show in 'Devices and Printers'. This is an intermittent problem, sometimes they load and sometimes they don't. Quite often when a user tries to log on, it will give them a temp profile as
well.
Any help would be much appreicated.
First step : Clear the DNS cache from server and clients (ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /registerdns).
Second step : May i know is there a print server configured ??
For users getting temp profile : follow this link :

Sir, I Suggest you to disable Windows Firewall and Update your Group Policy by :
Start --> Run... --> CMD --> gpupdate /force --> Enter

Thank you for the fast response but we have ensured all the Firewalls are OFF and have done gpupdate /force countless times.
On stubborn computers I have even entered the Registry Key 'GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue' to ensure they get the software they're assigned, some users DO get the printers but others don't.
