Does windows 7 has an advance search option?
does windows 7 has a more advance search then the search in start menu or in my computer winodws?thanks in advance.

You can always use more advanced search queries in both the start menu but also in the top right search box found in Windows Explorer. Have a look at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/desktopsearch/technicalresources/advquery.mspx for more information.

yeah i have already seen i bet it had something to do with windows search 4.0 which i have no intention of installing even uninstalling WMP12 caused me problems i see no reason to install any thing from microsoft thanks for the help.

Windows Search 4.0 is included by default in Windows 7 (and even Windows Vista with SP2) so you already have it and can start using these advanced search queries instantly :)

LOL Really ? That's you solution. Abandon the near perfect search in XP for this kludged mess. Wow... Ya wonder why you guys get black-eyes on these things. Please stop fixing that which is NOT broken. We asked for a better OS and we got Win 7 Yeah... But we did not ask for a nutered search
