Hello, Uninstall the ad-valentine-day-wallpaper program from the add/remove programs. Go to www.malwarebytes.org and download and run the adware utility. Then go to www.microsoft.com/securityessentials and download and install it and let it run. MiguelMiguel Fra / Falcon ITS Computer & Network Support, Miami, FL Visit our Knowledgebase Sharepoint Site

User account may be corrupt. I suggest making a new one and transfer your personal data to it.

Hi platinumdragon, If the issue occurs recently, you can first try System Restore to check the result. If the issue still exists, temporary uninstall ACDSee and other wallpaper, theme software to see if the issue can be resolved. If the issue persists, please check if the issue occurs in a new user account. If the issue does not occur in a new user account, try the suggestions in this article: Fix a corrupted user profile

I know if windowws 7 is not activated it will go into reduced function mode. In RFM you can not assign a background image - always black. Those images can't be selected because they have bean disabled. Check for activation status at command window. Command to run = slui.exe

You may have a corrupt user profile. Go into Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>User Accounts>Manage Accounts. Create a new account and try to view thumbnails in this new account.

Try a system restore like Linda mentioned. Restore to a time when this problem was not happening.Miguel Fra / Falcon ITS Computer & Network Support, Miami, FL Visit our Knowledgebase Sharepoint Site

But I disable it when I have another problem and this is too late to use it so now I can't use it.

Please check if this picture can be set as the background and view as the thumbnail properly. Also, what is the result after updating the display card driver to the latest version? If the issue persists, try reinstall the display card driver by the steps below to see if the issue can be resolved: 1. Click the Start Button, type Device Manager in the Search bar and press "Enter". Click Continue if necessary. 2. Double click to expand the Display adapters. 3. Right click the display card and click Uninstall. 4. Restart the computer. 5. Run Windows Update to update the driver.

Camtasia Recorder is a part of Camtasia Studio 7, it is used to record computer screen. Also, I use the full Enterprise.

Please save this picture to your local drive and then set it as the desktop background for testing. Does the same issue occur?
