I am having Windows 8.1 Pro and I have reserved a copy of Windows 10 during the beginning of this month(June).

On 17-06-2015 I received update for windows 8.1 via automatic update, but yesterday I came to know that there is new folder created on the same day (i.e., on 17-06-15) in one of my disk partition other than system partition. It was alphanumerically named. The suspicion occurred while i tried to open it and it showed the message that "i don't have permission to access that folder", like as if it is a system folder, while I was using an admin account.

So I doubt that whether this would be part of windows 10 upgrade!

Win 10 will not start downloading installers until July 29, so this is something else

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes. Update it immediately.
Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

Oh yeah it's not part of windows 10 & it's not a malware either. I tried to open that folder, it only has the file named mrtstub.exe and mrt.exe._p . I googled about this and i came to know that this form part of Malicious Software Removal Tool of Microsoft that comes with the system update, once every month.
