DocumentViewer Error 1706
Recently, I had to reinstall my Kodak AIO printer. After this was done, a Windows Installer Box on Startup appeared each time I start my computer. When I cancel it, it eventally comes to this message: "documentViewer-Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product DocumentViewer. The Windows Installer cannot continue." It is pretty annoying for this to happen each time I start up my computer. I have already tried reinstalling the software, etc. Te only way I can remove this windows installer box at this time is to hit CTRL+Alt+Delete and take it off that way. Please help me with permanently removing this box.

Hi Dagwoodusa, This would happen if the printer drivers and software are not installed properly on the computer.I would suggest that you completely uninstall all the printer drivers and software from the computer, later redownload and install the printer drivers and software.http://support.en.kodak.com/ If the above step fails then I would suggest that you perform clean boot procedure to check if any other third party program installed on the computer is causing the error on the startup. To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. Refer the below link to know more about clean boot procedure. How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" statehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353 Reset the computer to start as usualAfter you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:a) Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.c) On the General tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then click OK.d) When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.
