Do you think the aggravation of endless bugs in s/ware will cause people to die younger and get more stress-induced disease?
Aside from the time that people lose trying to make their software deliver simple, basic functionality (such as trying to get version after version of IE to print properly, for example) do you think the stress and aggravation will end up causing people to die younger and to get more stress-induced disease? Do you think that much of the 'help' that is offered on the forum is actually more time-wasting and aggravating to deal with than the problems themselves? Do you think the orientation of the software manufacturers will always be to capture the next generation of youngsters and will never be focussed on the aggravation that is caused to customers once they're captured?
