Dissable automatic offline folders.
At my company we often use 3G modems to connect to the internet and then initiate a VPN connection to access network resources. Sometimes the 3G connection gets very high latency and the network filders go offline. The problem here is that some of the networkfolders files and folders are still available. Meaning that windows automaticly caches the files you used recently. We wtill want the offline files feature but not on a shared resorces and defenetly not when we havent asked for it by setting the folder as Available Offline. This is a headache for the users because the slow connection makes it so the users cant access the files at all. A slow connection is better than No connection. But windows 7 does not think so. How do i dissable this annoying "feature" without dissabling Offline folders all together?

Hi, Thanks for the post! Since this behavior is caused by the slow connection, and the problematic folders are uncertain. I'm afraid you cannot avoid this unless you enchance the network connection.
