Hi AmirAfshar, Please try to contact your server administrator, to check if this Windows 7 PC can access the resource. And it is not a software development compatibility problem, I will move it to Windows 7 ITPro forums. Thanks. Can you access the server via IP address? I suggest you temporarily disable the firewall and check the result. If the issue persists, please open command prompt, then enter ipconfig/all. Please check if you have a valid IP address and if the DNS server configuration is correct. If you do not have a valid IP address, but have a 169.*.*.* address instead, I suggest you upgrade the network adapter driver. Also check if the DHCP server has any restriction with IP boundary. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. It's likely to be one of the following: - servername not resolving in DNS, ping the servername in a DOS window, then ping -a the ip address and see if it returns the same name. - Your account doesn't have access to that resource, check permissions on that server - You're not on the network/Domain. Check your ip as Arthur says above.
