Disk space used by Windows
I have a 13 GIG hard drive on my VIO laptop. It is almost full and I don't know why since I don't have large files in my documents.I just found that the "Windows" folder on my hard drive contains 5.23 GIGs in 32,000 files! Is that normal?I am hesitant to mess with the operating system. CAn I somehow clean up that folder?Mike1 person needs an answerI do too

Consider using a program such as WinDirStat to determine which are the largest files on your system, and which folders contain the most data. That information can be used to make further decisions about how to proceed.

the size sounds about right. You can probably flush your restore points and get a LOT of space back. hth, vM.V.P. - Desktop Experience | M.C.S.A. | M.C.P. - MS Server 2k3, Network Architecture
