Disk space lost in Recycle Bin
I have deleted two large files (each 1G size). Then, I want to completely delete it in Recycle Bin. However, I have deleted them in Recycle Bin, it is completely lost. Can no longer be found in Recycle Bin My Harddisk size do not increase by 2G as expected Then, I use utility WinDirStat. The 2G can be found under "$RECYCLE.BIN" folder. It should be fixed.

Ken_ken, This is, in fact, the default behavior of Windows, and has been for quite some time. Windows holds on to old Recycle Bin information in the event that it is ever needed for a system restore (which has been known to cause some problems when virus scanners find old infections in these folders). Many third-party temp file cleanup tools will take care of this, if you're so inclined.-Alex
