Disk management cannot start complus
Lately when I try to shrink a "logical drive" I receive an error box stating " The service cannot be started either because it is disabled, or it has not devices associated with it" Both of these are lies. I have tracked these down to the fact that certain updates isuued in the past three months have radically changed the "disk managment routines". The services that depend on this start ok, but certain other ones on which the service is required to start are disabled, because of changes in policy due to security updates. Please tell me how to re-enable the 'shrink feature 'L Stiefel
