Disk Management Console shows incorrect system drive
My system has 4 physical HDD's installed. Drive C: is the boot drive and contains the Windows 7 system files. The drive management console (under system management) does not list drive C: at all (it only lists 3 physical HDD's) AND it shows Drive E: as the system disk. Drive E: is a data disk and contains no Windows system files at all. Even though there is no listing in this console for Drive C: (OR the physical disk it resides on) the system boots normally and Drive C: is shown in Windows explorer under Computer. However, some programs which rely on this data (Norton Ghost for example) do not work since they cannot find the C: drive. Using the rescan option in Disk Management and Device Manager has no effect. I have used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Norton 360 to scan for and eliminate any Malware from the system. At this moment I am totally stumped. HELP!

I gave up on Ghost long ago. I like drive cloning better. I used it to upgrade the system disk recently. Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! IT/Developer, Windows/Linux/Mainframe Need a some parts finish the new server, see the site for remaining items needed

I use Seagate's wizard, free for Seagate users. See my site on how I cloned my Windows disk. The page is full of helpful tips. Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! Nope but I do need more disks though. N should likely backup and install Windows 7 clean and see if that helps. Ideally with the other disks removed for the install and then attached afterwards.
