Disk Clean removed ie, media player, etc. (had check MSN Explorer only) Have not rebooted, can they be saved??
Was trying to free up disk space, in other options of disk clean up, selected remove Window components..only had checked of MSN Explorer..and now it has removed all that were listed..NOT CHECKED..have not yet rebooted and IE8 and MP11 (icons removed and removed from start menu was my heads up), still showing on Add/Remove programs..is there any way to save, can't use Sys Restore as have spent hours of work today and can't lose..any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Jules.

Hi Jules,You may try to restart the computer & choose Last Known Good Configuration mode from Advanced Boot Menu options. Some may require your Windows disc. Follow the instructions on the link below. I would tell you, however, Windows Media Player 11, as well as, IE8 can be downloaded from Microsoft and re-installed.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307894I don't vote for myself I'm not here for the points. thanks for the info..very worried about restarting, emptied my recycle bin also where I had some files I was ready to restore if necessary..have posted question where you suggested, will definitely try the suggestions you have made once I bite the bullet and hit the restart, just hoping to resolve prior to this, sounds unlikely..again, thanks, Jules.
