Discovered a possible flaw in Windows 7
If this has been reported then please ignore. I have just discovered what could be a potential flaw which has either not been tested and/or has gone through without anybody even noticing it. When you recover your system from using the WindowsImageBackup, Windows will set your active network to Public Network instead of what you set your system as when you first installed your computer. How do you discover this, when you recover your system and go into Network and Sharing Centre, then go to see full map it states that you are on a Public Network and need to change to a home network to view the network… even though Windows is telling you. You are on a Home Network? Confused, well the only way to set this back so it recognises a home network is to set it to public and then back again to home, now you can see the map of your network. I know I have put this is security, although it may not be a security risk it does pose a possible security flaw.I should have run psr.exe and documented the entire event...

If you use Windows Image Backup it will back up everything including settings that you provide , you probably set to public. It is NOT a Security issue as long as your firewall is running and you have all updated patch no one could gain access to your PC through Public network. In Windows XP , there is no Public and Private and it is Secure if you follow Security Principle such as Update, Firewall, Anti-Malware,Anti-virus . In Windows Vista and Windows 7, you could chose public network and it make you invisible in other clients. If you chose private then you are visible . It is recommend to put public when you are worry about unsecure network, but if you put private, your PC will not compromise because of that. There is NO flaw here.
