Disconnected Network Drive, Red X'd
Hi all I know this issue is well documented, but I've tried what I can find and thus far have no luck resolving it. Like many others, we have a network drive that is displaying as disconnected, red x'd, but is still accessible when clicked on. I receive the error: This network connection does not exist if I try to disconnect it. I've tried changing the persistence of the drive mapping, but that doesn't help yet because it still thinks the disconnected one is mapped. I deleted registry entries where they existed from: HKCU\Software\MS\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2 HKCU\Network Tried net use * /delete /yes Tried mapping another drive over top of it I know that before SP1 this was a known issue, but seems unresolved so far... Can anyone offer anything else to try? Thanks! Ryan
