Hi Man Ng, What's the version of Windows 7 are you running? Home or others? If it's not Home edition, you can use the Group Policy to restrict other users change the power settings. Logon the computer as administrator, click Start, input gpedit.msc in the search box, press ENTER to open the Group Policy Editor, then navigate to: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Power Management If you're running home edition, please modify the registry permission. Click Start, input regedit in the search box, press ENTER to open the Registry Editor, then navigate to: HEKY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Controls Folder\PowerCfg, right-click the registry, then choose Permissions, only give permission to Aministrator.
