Disable firewall inbound rule which was enabled by GPO
I had to open some inbound ports in the Firewall with advanced security on several Windows 7 machines. I did this using GroupPoliy on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I made a mistake and also blocked some ports in the Windows 7 firewall. As administrator I am
not able to open these ports for they are maneged by GPO. For this reason I also am not able to reset the firewallsettings which are managed by GPO. How can I delete the firewall rules on Windows 7 machines which are added by GPO?

Koos,
Blockeerd de firewall je group policy updates?
If this is not the case.
Just remove your unwanted rules out of your GPO that you created. On the machine Windows 7 machine you can perform the command GPupdate /force
If your firewall blocks your group policy updates.
Just remove your unwanted rules out of your GPO that you created. On the windows 7 machine disable the windows firewall service.
(here is how
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/522-windows-firewall-turn-off.html) run the following command in a command prompt GPupdate /force
Activate the windows firewall agian.
FYI, You also can perform the following command netsh advfirewall reset
this will reset the firewall policies back to the "factory" settings.
But once a group policy update is done then you still will have the same problem.
