quick one, i am struggling to find any way to disable the P2P Desktop sharing in Lync. is it possible or not??

You can disable desktop sharing on the conferencing policy, this will also disable p2p desktopsharing.

As Holger says - In addition to using the LCP to set this via the GUI, you can also use the set-csconferencingpolicy -EnableAppDesktopSharing cmdlet

Add to Ben, this setting can be enforced at the per-user level. That means you can disable this feature to specific users.
