Disable Windows Explorer from opening typos in browser
Hi Milos. Thanks for your response.
This behavior occurs for typos in the address bar, not search:

By design, Windows Explorer opens typos in the default browser.
For example, if I type "c;\" instead of "c:\" in windows explorer, my browser opens and automatically loads "http://www.c;.com/".
How can I disable this behavior? It's never been useful for me and I worry every time that the sites I'm taken to might be malicious.
Thanks.

Would you specify "if I type c;\", is it in Search? I have different behaviour in my installation.

I get the different behavior too.
Have a try to reset folder settings.

Suppose I enter the following typo into Windows Explorer:
By design, Windows launches my browser and attempts to load:
Does anyone know how to disable this? Does anyone use it?
Thanks.
