Hi Bigteddy, Thanks for the response. This registry hack only applies to a single machine right? If yes, how do I make distribute it thru Group Policy. I have 100 machines running on the network. Thanks ShahShahreender

No, the registry change can be applied by Group Policy. This is the path in your Group Policy Editor: Computer Configuration/Preferences/Windows Settings/Registry You create a new entry there. My previous info was wrong. Please see this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947239[string](0..9|%{[char][int](32+("39826578840055658268").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace "\s{1}\b"

Hi Bigteddy, By disabling the - The Key EnableWsd (Change this value from 1 to 0 to dis-able Auto Tuning.) When I type netsh interface tcp show global. It says that the 'receive window auto-tuning level=normal Does this mean that the Windows Heuristic Tool is no longer functioning? ThanksShahreender

No, as I said, I was wrong about the registry key. See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947239[string](0..9|%{[char][int](32+("39826578840055658268").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace "\s{1}\b"

Bigteddy: kb947239 applies to Vista, and every time i create Tcpautotuning keys the get automatically removed from the registry. Would you please point which exact key will work with Windows 7?
