Directory is locked
I have a directory on an external HDD which has a flag on it saying that it's a backup. This is not the case, weird is I can see the structure during a scan but can't move to the directory and I can't restore from it either. I probably bungled something
up and will probably be able to fix it with a tool or two but does anyone know a quicker solution and or how this happened ?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.
Based on your description, I assume that you meet the following situation:
A directory with a backup flag is located on your external hard drive, but you cannot access it or restore from it.
If I misunderstand your words, please feel free to let me know.
Currently, in order to make this issue clear, please help me to capture some related screenshots to analyze, and
Upload to SkyDrive.
And if you failed when you try to access it, did you get any error message?
