Direct Access limited to Enterprise is not a good idea
Hi,Just a comment about the SKUs - from what I read Windows 7 Professional is to replace Vista Business - OK.But the really missing thing for a small business is remote access and with Professional not having Direct Access included it means that the small and medium sized businesses need to purchase the Enterprise or Ultimate versions which is not very cost effective.I think Direct Access should be included in Professional or a SKU that is designed to meet current small and medium sized businesses needs. Why that was not thought of is a very perplexing to me. As I am the one who will have to setup and manage the VPN for my sales reps or request extra $$ to upgrade to Enterprise or Ultimate which is very hard to do in today's economy.I'm wondering if Microsoft could explain the reasoning/thinking about about taking out a very great feature from the group who could benefit the most by reducing the costs to SMBs and their IT department which is usually 1 or 2 people.ThanksGord
