Digital certificate details
Hello Why doesn't IE show the digital signature of the issuer of a certificate ? When using IE i can see other details of a certificate (subject's public key etc.) but not the issuers digital signature. As far as i understand, this signature is created by hashing the certificate and then encrypting it with issuers private key. When using other browser, like firefox, it always shows the digital signature of the issuer. Is there a way i can see this detail also in IE? Why is it disabled? BR, Poppe
