Diffrence administrator accounts in Windows 7 Home Edition.
Hello, A friend of mine has a problem with his home laptop, he cannot make network connection what so ever. He logges in on his own account, IMPORTENT: This account has administrator rights, its joined in the administrator group. So this is not a regulair account, its set as an administrator. Now, for example: When I use the following command in cmd (with the custom made user account with administrator rights): net start w32time i get the following error: Acces denied When I preform the same command while being logged in as administrator , it says: Service is allready started. So the custom account has diffrent rights????? how is this possible, after all their in the same administrator "group". Both accounts are local accounts, this computers is not connected to a domain. Are there big diffrences between these 2 accounts in Windows 7?

Hi, Thanks for the post! When you use another administrator account, did you run CMD as administrator? Try to run CMD as administrator to see if the access still denied.
