Hi There,I have 3 computers all running XP SP3 on a common network along with a networked printer.Generally everything networks well, except for one recent problem computer which can print and access files on other machines, but other machines can't access files on the problem machine. Also scanned documents cannot be delivered to the problem machine but can to the other machines. This problem machine is my main machine.The shared folders on the problem machine are shared and the option to modify the files is ticked.So, can anyone hlep me please?Thanks in advanceCheers1 person got this answerI do too

Thanks for that and I have previously stopped simple sharing and then rstarted simple sharing with no luck. I have XP pro on all my machines.I only use windows firewall and of course there's one on the router. It makes no difference if they are on or off.I have just tried turning off simple sharing and then set up sharing using the more detailed sharing with full control and bingo, it all works now.It's interesting that it works using the detailed sharing and not the simple sharing whereas all my other machines work using simple sharing.Thankyou for all your help and case closed!Cheers
