Different Date modified from windows 7 to windows xp
Hello,
in a network share users look at different "date modified" in the same file, Windows XP user looks at more 1 hour than that Windows 7 user looked at.
This behavior is only in some files, I didn’t find any relation between files that have this problem.
Any suggestions?
Thank You,
Giovanni

Is it 1 hour difference? Then this is probably a daylight savings
difference between your XP and Win7 installation. There have been so
many patches, which address time zone changes, that differences are
easily possible - of course depending on time zones involved.

Hello Wolfgang,
Yes, it is, but daylight savings has same settings in all workstations and both windows (Windows XP and Windows 7) are updated with last
patches available.
The attribute “date modified” is a property of the file, is it possible different
version of Windows read different value from the same file? Is there an utility to view this attribute?
Thank you
Giovanni
