Dial-up parameter missing??
In XP's DUN configuration options, under the SECURITY tab, there was an option to "allow unsecured password." I see that this option has been removed in W7, or perhaps been replaced by the default "optional encryption, connect even if there is no encryption." That choice, and all others, have been tested. I've even gone to the trouble of overinstalling W7 on top of the clean install. What am I missing here? An earlier Vista ---> W7 upgrade (using the same installation disk) worked just fine. The clean install is using exactly the same settings, but the dial attempt disconnects during the verification phase. Thanks
