Devices and Printers not working in Windows 7
I can't get any printers to show up in my Windows 7 Devices and Printers. All my printers, networked and local, show up in the drop down box when I to to print, but I can't manage any of them because they don't show up in the Devices & Printers applet. I've read a lot of stuff in the Internet (this and other sites), a lot of it related to BlueTooth devices, followed instructions and so on, but still can't get this to work. This is my personal laptop that I use for work. Has or will Microsoft come up with a solution for what seems to be a fairly common problem?

When did the issue first occur? If the issue first occurred recently, please check if System Restore can resolve this issue. If the issue persists, please go to Start, type cmd in the Start Search box, right click on cmd.exe and then click "Run as administrator". In the command box, copy the following command: start shell:::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} What is the result? Also, you can try the suggestions in this article to check the result: http://iefaq.info/index.php?action=artikel&cat=42&id=133&artlang=en Please Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
