I have the beta of Windows 7 and just noticed there seems to be a problem with the device manager. When you open the device manager, and open any of the device properties, it works fine. But, if you put your mouse over the close (x on top right) it flashes continually. Does this just happen to me, or does this happen to anyone else. It is only on the device properties window.

I don't see that, but then my Windows 7 has most enhancements disabled in "Performance Options".Also, it is installed on a virtual machine under Hyper-V.

Hi, We found that if the schema is Windows Aero, the background of the close button will flash as you described. We will report this behavior.

It happens in Windows 7 and Vista too.... It has been reported, its due to DWM.Some disabled controlbox having the same problem.- Ramesh Kumar
