Developing Chakma Unicode (Open Type) Font
Dear Sir, Our Chakma Language (Script) UNICODE range is 11100-1114F. It is newly-defined blocks in version 6.1 are available (see http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode6.1.0/). Here is pdf version ( see http://unicode.org/charts/PDF/U11100.pdf). Here is include with names list (See http://www.unicode.org/charts/nameslist/c_11100.html). Here is names list with details description (see http://www.unicode.org/charts/nameslist/n_11100.html#11109). But, many of the UNICODE language (Script) such as: Bengali (see http://www.unicode.org/charts/nameslist/c_0980.html), Mayanmar (see http://www.unicode.org/charts/nameslist/c_1000.html), Tamil (see http://www.unicode.org/charts/nameslist/c_0B80.html) etc are showing correctly. On the other hand, our language (Script) is not showing correctly. What is the proper reason? How can it is showing on any Operating System (like : Windows, Mac, Apple etc)? Please some suggest me. Anyway, I've already created ANSI Chakma font like "Alaam", Bargee etc (see http://hilledu.com/download-fonts/). You may download it & try to write it. But, how can I create a UNICODE Chakma font? How can I see it on any OS? I look forward your best suggestion. Now a days, Unicode Chakma Font is huge demand of my Country. So it is very urgent to adding or including in your Microsoft Company. We hope that we must do it, if we get your best help. I have got some answer from Adam Twardoch (FontLab)" <adam@fontlab.com>. According to his suggestion I download Microsoft VOLT for free from: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/volt.mspx But, I can't install it in my pc. Note that, my pc ver is windows 7 professional. How can I install it in my pc? Suppose, I have created Open Type (Unicode) Chakma font. But I can't write with it on any OS? like (Facebook, or, any browser, Windows, Apple, Mac etc.) How can I solved it? Please feedback me. I look forward for your best answer.
