Desktop icons and everything is missing from my user login.
Original Title: login at startup ( user - admin )when i start my computer and the login comes up ( user, wifes name, grandson name ) i click on user to use my computer , my wife clicks on her icon, and so on. when i click on user to open my desk top it went to windows start up like new install would when you first open after install. my desk top and icons and everything i had is gone, i tried to restore to earlier date my system will not restore. can anybody help or am i screwed.
