I rebooted my machine this morning and upon boot i found that the icons have not loaded. Explorer as loaded and i have access to the taskbar just no icons on the desktop.I browsed to the folder and all of the icons are still there.

Right click on desktop, choose view, tick "Show Desktop Items"GD

I've had something similar to this and the taskbar is blank also with no clock etc... I can't get it back, so after a reboot back it comes as though nothing has happened.
